Meaning of Personal Information

Personal information does not include any business contact information that is solely used to communicate with you in relation to your employment, business or profession, such as your name, position name or title, work address, work telephone number, work fax number or work electronic address. Personal information also does not include information that has been anonymized or aggregated in such a way that there is no serious possibility it can be used to identify an individual, whether on its own or in combination with other information.

Consent to Collection, Use and Disclosure

We collect, use and disclose your personal information with your consent or as permitted or required by law, including all applicable provincial and federal privacy laws. How we obtain your consent (i.e. the form we use) will depend on the circumstances, as well as the sensitivity of the information collected. Personal Information We Collect

a) Services. We collect the following information when you use the Services:

    Account information: we collect contact and profile information in connection with the creation and management of your user account, such as your name, e-mail address and password, and your occupation.

    User submitted information: we collect information that you submit through your use of the Services.

    Usage data: we automatically collect usage data and other analytics to provide us with information about how the Services are being used and the different types of activities undertaken by users of the Services, such as the date, time, device and location of use, as well as sharing and commenting data. This information is occasionally aggregated and anonymized for service, usage and performance monitoring purposes.

b) Other Interactions. If you otherwise interact with us, whether in person, by phone or email, through social media or otherwise, including if you might be interested in acquiring our Services, sign-up to receive newsletters or other communications, or respond to surveys and questionnaires, we may collect information that you provide to us during these interactions. c) Third party information. We do not collect payment card information. If you make an online payment using a payment card, such as a credit card or debit card, your payment is submitted through our online payment processing service provider and your payment card information is collected and processed by that service provider.

  • To create your Account and Profile;
  • To contact you relating to our Services;
  • To provide you with use and access to the Site and our Services and to support your use of the Site and the Services;

We also require that they only use your personal information for the limited purposes for which it is provided. When our service providers no longer need your personal information for those limited purposes, we require that they destroy or return the personal information to the extent possible, except for information they are required to retain under applicable law. If you use the Services and indicate in your account profile that you are a licensed representative of a brokerage (your "Brokerage"), we may disclose the fact that you are a user of the Services to your Brokerage. Additionally, we may use and disclose your information when we believe such use or disclosure is permitted, necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside British Columbia and Canada; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside of British Columbia and Canada; (d) to enforce the terms of the Agreement; (e) to protect our operations or those of any of our Affiliates (as such term is defined in the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia)); (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or those of our Affiliates, you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain. In addition, we may transfer your personal information and other information to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, brands, affiliates, subsidiaries or other assets.

  • To provide you with use and access to the Site and our Services and to support your use of the Site and the Services;

  • If we otherwise intend to disclose your personal information to a third party, we will identify that third party and the purpose for the disclosure, and obtain your consent.

    Retention of Personal Information

    This website is hosted in Canada and we comply with all industry standards related to the collection, storage and usage of any collected data.
